The fund is co-managed by Vident Investment Advisory, LLC. It invests in fixed income and commodity markets of the United States. For its fixed income portion, it invests in short-term investment grade fixed-income securities including U.S. government securities and money market instruments. For its commodity portion, the fund uses derivatives such as futures contracts to invest in commodities. It seeks to invest in commodities through a wholly owned Cayman Islands subsidiary.
